OOTD: SKULLS + LEATHER

This is from last week when I helped out a couple of photographers who needed a model! Definitely went the edgy route and it totally worked out seeing as we were in a parking garage.. edgiest place you're going to find in suburbia! I love this jacket so, so much. I got it last Spring when I went to New York with my mom and I just feel like such a cool kid in it! Haha

I bought the skull tank top back in October down in Dallas, Texas and I remember getting it for such a steal! I was instantly in love. I guarantee you can find something similar in stores right now.

As for shoes, I'm actually wearing heels! I love heels. More than any other shoe. Sadly, being 5'9" does not allow many opportunities to push yourself well over six feet (especially because I don't just like heels.. they need to be HIGH) except for modeling! So it was great to prance around in some of my favorite, trusty black pumps. I bought them from a wonderful store called Bakers which my area mall just got but it's already gone out of business :( So sad.

OUTFIT OF THE SNOW DAY

I've had nothing to do today so I've just been anticipating the snow that was supposed to come tonight!! It started coming down noticeably about 15 minutes before the sun was down and it was completely dark so I got very lucky photo-wise. For you photoshop nerds, I had a lot of curves to deal with since it was so dark hahaha

Nothing from this outfit is new, sadly. But I'll still write about each article below.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY - FOR 1/19/13

If I were to label myself, I'd definitely put 'beauty buff' on myself waayyy before 'fasionista'. I love and adore fashion and follow brands, style houses, trends, the whole shebang but I just don't love it as much as other people seem to do. That being said, I like to get a little dressier than usual sometimes! Yesterday was one of those days! I went shopping with my friend Brittany and documented my outfit.

Most of the things I'm wearing you can no longer find, but are easy enough where there have to be newer versions by other people now.

What I'm wearing:

Red striped sweater from J. Crew, trench vest from Forever 21, a random winter scarf that I've had forever, Under Armour leggings and my beloved Doc Martens.

OUTFIT OF THE NIGHT - 12/30/12

Tonight is the Redskins game that I mentioned and it's also my brother-in-law's birthday! We're going to go celebrate downtown before the game and then stay to watch it there and man, am I stoked. Didn't get too dressy, had to rep my skins shirt!

My Redskins t-shirt and a leather jacket with jeans and some cute flats = perfect outfit!

My makeup is smokier than my usual, I took Maybelline's Color Tattoo in 'Tough as Taupe' and layered over a metallic silver shadow. Lined my eyes with gel liner and popped on some mascara. Not much contouring and a little bit of blush and a nude lip completed the look! My hair is a mixture of loose 2" and 1" curls.
