Olay Professional Pro X Cleansing System- I have been wanting the Clairsonic Mia 2 for some time but with it's $149 price tag, I just can't imagine spending that right now! I figured I'd go the cheaper route for something that got very solid reviews which was this system. The cleaner comes with two speeds and a removable brush head and it's waterproof so it can go in the shower with you! It includes an exfoliating cleanser which I have really liked so far and I usually use this at night only. It really makes my face feel clean and allows me to moisturize even better! So far, so good.
MAC 'Please Me' lipstick- I have posted a review of this already on here, but overall I really do like it! I have learned while owning it for a little while that I do have to force some chapstick into my lips prior to wearing it so my lips don't go desert on me but the color is very flattering and I enjoy it!
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer in 'Radiant'- I see a lot of potential in this concealer but seeing as I got it in the wrong color, it's not doing much for me currently. The shade that I got it in is far too pink for my undereye area and really, my face too. I currently am using it DIRECTLY on my dark parts of my undereyes which is a very, very small area and blending out. I top it with my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer and all is forgiven! I may try another color of this because again, I see potential!
NYX blushes in 'Mocha' and 'Bourgeois Pig'- Mocha is a very natural blush pink while Pig is a bubblegum pink. Both come off very pigmented, so a light hand is necessary! Both are very flattering and should be on all ranges of skin tones. NYX really makes the best drugstore blushes, so I'm not surprised.
Wet N Wild blush in 'Mellow Wine'- SUCH great pigmentation and SUCH a great color. This shade is such a beautiful flush for your cheeks and I like to wear it when I'm not wearing any other makeup because it just adds a little bit of dimension to my face! Also very pigmented, even more so than the NYX ones so I have to be very careful when putting it on!
NYX Liquid Illuminator in 'Gleam'- Such a lovely product and I can't wait to buy the white version so I can try it on my face! This shade is too tanned for my face but it's absolutely perfect on the body and I can't wait to use it this summer!! For olive skin tones and darker this would be great to add a dewier-looking finish to the face.
Maybelline Color Whisper lip colors in 'Pin Up Peach' and 'Pink Possibilities'- New favorite product alert! These have not replaced my BELOVED Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains but they are now just alongside of them. These guys are a glorified version of the Revlon Lip Butters where they are a sheer wash of color while still showing great pigments and moisturizing your lips. They aren't made with any oils or waxes, just a light gel so they are great to just slick on and go. I highly recommend this product and these colors are just great. Peach is a natural shade and Pink is a more barbie (but not that intense) pink!
Maybelline ColorSensational Vivids lipstick in 'Shocking Coral'- Pretty dang disappointed with this color but not with this range! I have loved these vivid lipsticks and it's been great to have such a vibrant range in the drugstore lately! I'm just disappointed that this Coral color doesn't come off coral on my lips. It's just a neon pink. However, it's a good neon pink! Whenever I need it, I'll have it and I guess I can't be mad for being prepared!
Kate Moss for Rimmel London Lashing Finish lipstick in '01'- MPR. I finally found My Perfect Red. To the tune of Rimmel, too! Rimmel lipsticks are my favorite and I have realllllly been liking this Kate Moss collection thing! 01 is just a true, blue-based-but-not-too-much red that isn't too vampy but isn't a wash or stain either! It's actually a lipstick! I've been looking for my perfect color red for so long and I'm so relieved to have finally found it!
L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows in 'Midnight Blue' and 'Amber Rush'- Great packed pigments that come off extremely well on the lids. While I can't vouch for any other colors in this range, I can for these. Midnight Blue comes off ashy and black when not packed directly on the lid but is a beautiful, slightly shimmery navy color when it is. Amber Rush is a rose gold that looks great on it's own or a part of a complex look! I love wearing it all over the lid!
