JUNE FAVORITES

Sorry for being two days late on this post! I was expecting to record a video (which I did today) but it was so terribly filmed and everything was a mess.. I can't even. So just a blog post this month! Still not sure how y'all do it with these favorites every single month but I've finally gotten to a point of gathering new products where I feel like I can do a fresh post for June! Let's get into the products..

Fake Bake Flawless Self Tan - I wish I could wrap this tan up in a blanket and just cover myself in it every night. Ugh. I adore it. I imagined that my Summer was going to be full of testing out tanners but since I bought Fake Bake first and have fallen in love, I don't want to even spend the money testing out any others! If you can see from the lid that has turned greenish, it's a green-based tanner which allows your tan to be olive-toned instead of orange! It looks so natural and adds just enough to where there is more than a glow of color but less than an intense, deep tan. To read my full review post on it, click here.

NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in 'Sunbeam' - It's been a slow race for this little guy as I haven't exactly been using him as much and as frequently as I had expected prior to these past few weeks. Now that it's warmer and I'm tanner however, I have been reaching for it more often to highlight my cheekbones. It gives just a subtle glow around your eyes that comes across really dewy and fresh. I have a full review post on it and the other shade of this product right over here!

Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in 'Luna' - Definitely the standout shade in this collection! As much as I like these Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers, I cannot express how fond I am of this color. I'm a bit tired of owning so many lip products that I have two of the same lipstick colors (different brands) that also match three lip glosses and two balms. This 'Luna' shade is so unique so it's a refreshing invite whenever I open my lip product drawer to choose one to wear. It's not quite a creamsicle but it's less than a coral.. I'm trying and wanting to say that it's just a peachy-orange! It's so unique and such a great color for these warm times. Fuller review can be found here.

Victoria's Secret PINK Spring Break Body Mist in 'Passionfruit Hibiscus' - I must start out by saying that this product can no longer be found in stores as it went out in the latest Semi-Annual sale but should still be able to be searchable online! I have this body mist as well as a body wash/scrub in this scent and it's just the epitome of Summer. It has a sandy, beachy scent that's wrapped up in a warm floral note that brings me to a tropical paradise every time that I put it on. As much as I don't like the beach, I do like to smell it!

Cargo Water Resistant Blush in 'Ibiza'* - Can we leave myself a mental note to PLEASE go try out some more Cargo products the next time I'm at Ulta? I got this blush as a sample and am so thankful that I did. I had a Cargo blush pinned on my Pinterest (possibly one of my first pins!) but every time I went to Ulta I would just stray away from the Cargo area mainly because of the price and the lack of hype in the beauty world. Who cares about hype, Bailey?! This stuff is great. The water resistance is truer than ever and this shade is the perfect cool pink for my cheeks. The texture is super satiny and it glides on effortlessly and stays put all day. Such a fan. Must go get more whenever I have the funds!

NYX Blush in 'Taupe' - *angels sing hallelujah* I finally got it!!! I have been wanting this 'blush' for forever! I recently had a post on this up but I would just like to mention how I apply this stuff. I take my usual blending brush for my crease and swirl it into the product a bit. Then I made a stark line right where my contour should be below my cheekbones. Then I take my usual bronzer and a much larger, fluffier brush and blend the line out. It adds a coolness that I really need in my contouring routine to make my whole look a bit more natural!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 'Black' - If you are in need of a cheap but great quality eyeliner that will stay put all day then I would highly recommend this product to you. The entire Rimmel Scandal Eyes line is fantastic but this black eyeliner is pure perfection. I would go as far as saying it's better than the cult classic Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner. Honestly. You put it on your lid or waterline and it's not going anywhere until you take it off! Heck, even when you take it off it's still kind of there buuuut I am not. complaining.

I would love to hear about some of your recent favorites! If you made a post of a video, link it to me in the comments! Otherwise, just mention a few. I'd like to build a new shopping list for the coming months.

APRIL FAVORITES

Well, well, well. We have found ourselves at the end of yet another month, this time being April! That means Summer is just around the corner. I have some favorite products that I've enjoyed this month to share with you all. Scroll down a bit to read about 'em!

L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer in Neutral Fair/Light- Check out my post on this product here! This concealer is now my go-to for my under eyes as the color is great for my skin and it lasts all day long (with some help from my setting sprays!). It's very easy to blend and it covers up my makeup perfectly, which is one of the reasons I wear concealer in the first place. I use it to round out my eyeshadows and tidy up the shadow or liner placed on my lower lash line.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencils- I much prefer these to their larger counterpart (also by Rimmel) and I must say that these are a sure dupe for Urban Decay's 24/7 liners. They are equally creamy and easily blendable and smudgable. The colors are all very pigmented and last all day on your lids without any problems. The key for me is that they also apply to the waterlines fantastically. No tugging or pain here!

Revlon Lip Butter in 'Juicy Papaya'- You can see it in action here. This guy has stood out as my favorite lip butter officially. It's a natural, yet still bright enough color on the lips so you can wear it with just about anything. It's warm and fresh and I think it'll be awesome to wear with a tan and minimal makeup!

Urban Decay eyeshadow in 'Secret Service'- This has become a bit of a staple piece. You can see it in any photo that I post of myself wearing makeup as it's the only shadow that I now use on my brows. I used to use 'Naked' towards the inner part but now I just take the tiniest amount of this color and feather it inward. This keeps my brows looking more unified and I believe just all-around nicer. Don't believe it's in any palette so you'll have to buy it separately but if you have hair similar in darkness to mine, then it's worth it.

Benefit 'Dandelion' blush and lip gloss- Got these two samples and boy, am I happy I did. I have always wanted a Benefit boxed powder but just have never been able to justify buying one as I wasn't in love with any of them specifically. However, I now am. Dandelion is a pale 'ballerina' pink that can be packed on messily but still look pretty! The lip gloss sister to it is just as lovely and gives a nice, natural sheen to your lips. I was skeptical on the Benefit glosses at first since I had heard that they were super sticky and just not worth it BUT! I have had the complete opposite experience with this one! It's very lightweight and it wears off without getting tacky and gloopy. Total win.

MARCH FAVORITES

Hey guys! Another month down, another favorites to do! Some of these look familiar because I've just bought them this month so I've been talking about them already. Hope you enjoy and have a blessed Easter if you're celebrating! Also, this is my 100th post! How fitting that it's a holiday, a favorites and a milestone :)

pictured L to R: Urban Decay Vice Palette, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Stila Lip Glazes, L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer, Philosophy Lit From Within Cream Blush, OPI 'You're Such A Budapest' and Ashland Candle
Urban Decay 'Laced' eyeshadow- I feel like all I talk about is this dang UD Vice Palette. I won't go into detail, I promise! This month my favorite is just a color from that palette and it's called 'Laced'. It's described as a "pink-tinged beige with a hint of gray" with a matte finish. I love to wear this all over the lid whenever I'm just running out of the house and want to throw something on and I also love it in the crease as a transition color whenever I'm wearing a darker shadow or a colorful eye look!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 'Sandstorm'- I've been loving this as my setting powder for my concealer and lately I've been using it with my new Real Techniques setting brush and it's just become this all-star duo that cannot be beat.

Stila Lip Glazes- Got the 'All is Bright' Holiday set back over Christmas which came with a bunch of lip glazes. I'm not a lip gloss girl at all but for some reason I decided to begin to try these out and man, have I loved them! I really want to take advantage of Ulta's 5 for $15 deal that they have going on right now to try some more colors that Stila has. The colors that are pictured are 'Joy', 'Jolly' and 'Holly'

L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer in 'Fair/Light Neutral'- I have talked about this enough. It's fantastic. World's most blendable cream concealer! Only thing I wish for is a color that's a bit paler BUT it's almost Spring which means almost Summer so it shouldn't be too off for long. In. Love. Check out my review on it for some more detailed info on it.

Philosophy Lit From Within Cream Blush in 'Feel Warm All Over'- My mom handed this lovely item down to me a few weeks ago and I have been entirely infatuated with it. This color lends the absolute perfect, most natural flush to your cheeks and you don't have to set it with a powder! My other cream blushes absolutely have to be set but not for this one. It's such a beautiful mid-pink color with a golden sheen to it.

OPI 'You're Such A Budapest'- My new favorite pastel. Super beautiful periwinkle blue color. You can see it on-nail in my most recent YouTube video on my top 10 favorite OPI polishes here! Glides on wonderfully and is opaque is two or so coats.

Ashland 'Fresh Linen' Candle- I love this brand of candle because it's a large size and they sell them at Michael's so it's convenient for me to pick up! They always are having sales and I got this one specifically for about $3! Crazy! I like to keep certain candles lit for specific seasons and this one has been honored as my 'Spring' candle. Such a fresh, clean scent.
